Mortons Lane Wind Farm is located in Western Victoria approximately 38km east of Hamilton and 220km west of Melbourne. The project consists of 13 x Goldwind GW82/1.5MW wind turbines with generating capacity of 19.5MW. The first wind turbine became operational in November 2012. The wind farm can generate approximately 66GWh of clean electricity every year, enough to power more than 12,500 Victorian households and reduce up to 40,000t CO₂ in one year of operation.
